Hi everyone! My name is Linda and I am new to PA. My very first book, SINGING WINDS, is currently having its cover designed. I can't wait to see what they come up with. I agree with the other new authors that have submitted posts here recently. It is a very exciting time. I don't have a website yet but with all the suggestions and ideas I am getting from all of you, I will have one soon.

Congrats, Linda! Welcome to PA! I wish you the very best with your book and I hope your writing journey is a SPECTACULAR one! I'm new here too. I'm still in the waiting process for a text editor. For now, I'm enjoying watching and learning from all these awesome and talented authors on the message boards.

 Howdy Linda, and welcome to PublishAmerica. If you missed my earlier posted messages, do the following. Set up your own web site and advertise your book. Potential buyers will go to your site to read the synopsis you should post in the site. Move your cursor to this web site and strike the enter key: http://www.freewebs.com/glennrossjohnson.
When you exit my web site after visiting it, you will end up right back here in this author’s lounge. While in my web site, think about ideas to use in your own web site. Some writers add a guestbook for visitors to use in providing you with feedback about your web site and/or book (s). If you have software such as Corel’s Print House, you could make bookmarkers to distribute to friends and bookstores. Good luck and great success in writing. Glenn Ross Johnson

Linda, why don't you go to Freewebs and set up a free website? It is easy, you will be guided all the way and you can have it up and running in an hour. That way people will be able to contact you. Freewebs also does an excellent job of blocking spam. Good luck with your book and enjoy your experience.

Linda, welcome aboard, what Dick said about freewebs is great. I have my website there also. Someday I may get my own domain name.
There is so much information on the boards. Take advantage of old posts in getting ideas in promoting your book. Many of your questions have been asked and have been answered and can be in any topic listed on the boards. Read as many as you can. You'll see what I mean. Ask if you can't find what you are looking for. There are a lot of great people here who can help you. I'd mention them, but would probably miss someone... so I'll leave it at that.
